Boodles Gin

About Boodles Gin

Boodles Gin is a premium British gin, established in 1845 and produced exclusively in the UK according to the London Dry Gin production standards.

Until 2013, it was only sold in the US and Japan. After Proximo Spirits took ownership from Pernod Ricard, the packaging was redesigned and it was launched in the UK.

Boodles takes its name from Boodle’s gentleman’s club in St. James’s, London and is produced at the Greenalls distillery.

Famous members of Boodle’s gentleman’s club included former Prime Minister Winston Churchill and James Bond author Ian Fleming.

What is Boodles Gin made from?

The botanical recipe includes nutmeg, sage and rosemary, but interestingly contains no citrus in the mix.

What varieties are available?

Boodles Gin is currently available in two varieties; the Original London Dry and Boodles Rhubarb & Strawberry, which features the taste of fresh rhubarb and juicy strawberries.

How to serve?

Boodles Original London Dry gin can be served as a Gin & Tonic with a wedge of lime and a sprig of rosemary.

Boodles Rhubarb & Strawberry also makes a great basis for a cocktail.
